Battles Wiki
Battles let players compete directly using maps selected for the appropriate rank. Casual battles have no RHP changes. Ranked battles match players in the same rank and tier and award or remove RHP based on the final team result.
1v1
Team size follows the mode. Larger team modes can use Regular or Captain's Choice scoring.
2v2
Team size follows the mode. Larger team modes can use Regular or Captain's Choice scoring.
3v3
Team size follows the mode. Larger team modes can use Regular or Captain's Choice scoring.
15v15
Team size follows the mode. Larger team modes can use Regular or Captain's Choice scoring.
Regular uses the arithmetic average of the valid team accuracies. Captain's Choice uses the highest valid accuracy from the team. The result is calculated only after the participating players have submitted their qualifying recent score for the battle map.
Ranked matchmaking requires players to be in the same rank and tier. A winning team receives 30 RHP. A losing player loses between 10 and 20 RHP based on the score difference. Casual matches never change RHP.
Lobbies persist at a dedicated URL so players can join from an invitation or the Battles lobby list. Hosts can invite users, choose the team mode, select or vote on maps, use lobby chat, and start the selected battle when the required number of players is present.
When a battle begins, each player receives the selected map. After completing it, the player uses Check Score. A qualifying recent result is attached to that player. The battle finishes when every required player has a qualifying result, then the team scores are calculated and the final result is shown.
